#3. Teen Arts. March 12th at Salem Community College. Teen Arts information is posted by Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Kilian's rooms. Please stop by and feel free to ask questions!
#4. Twitter! We're now on Twitter! Follow PGHSBand for instant updates on rehearsals, concerts, and other events! It's important that everyone with a Twitter account follows us, or you can check our Twitter status at...
#5. Concession Stand. The Red Devil Players will present their version of "The Wizard of Oz" on March 11-13th. If you're willing to help with setup, tear down, or selling concessions during intermission, please let Mrs. Kilian know. The more hands we have to help, the quicker and easier things will go! Concessions will benefit the Music Program.
#6. Private Lessons. EVERY student in this program should take private lessons! Sitting in a band class with 30+ other people is not enough to help you achieve results. The benefits are incredible and there are cost effective options. For a list of teachers, email or call Mrs. Kilian.
#7. After School Concert Band Lessons. If you or your student is not in Concert Band during the Spring Semester, but would like to participate in the concert and upcoming trips, please have the student see Mrs. Kilian right away to sign up for after or before school lessons.
#8. Recruiting. The 2010 marching band show has already been picked and is already being written! It's really important that all of us take responsibility for recruiting new members into the program. Nearly all of our brass players are graduating in June, and there are plenty of spots in other sections. Students, parents, and staff must work together to get new students from the high school and the middle school to come out for what is going to be a really cool 2010 show and season.
